It isn't so much Valentine's Day but the day after that means alot to me. My husband and I started dating the day after Valentine's Day back in 2003. We were friends for about 6 months before and would hang out. It wasn't till the 15th of Feb, he had to work on the 14th so we didn't do anything for Valentine's day, that he came to me see me and told me he wanted us to be more then friends. I still have the little teddy bear and bracelet he got me for my birthday and Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day is a great day, but it is all about the Day After Valentine's for us. ;)

Jutone that is so sweet! We honestly don't celebrate Valentine's Day much. We do get each other a card and maybe some chocolate but that's it. Instead we try to make every day a day we demonstrate our love for each other.

I think this is the first year my husband and I havent celebrated valentines day. With a 3 year old and a lil one on the way is it kind of hard to get away especially here in Minot. But no matter what day is it, he always makes me feel like a queen.

I never had a Valentine's day till I married my honey. My ex's never did anything for me. So our first Valentine day together, Tim went out of his way to make it specail for me even though he was working 12's and was on mid shift. Valentine's day really doesn't mean much to me, but I truely just love the fact that husband loves me enough to just get me a card and tells me he love me.

This Valentine's Day is the first where I feel truely blessed. I have 3 wonderful children as my Valentines. They are the glue that keeps me together. I also have met the most considerate and kind hearted man. I never knew that someone could treat me like he does. The think that makes him so amazing is the fact that he doesn't even realize how amazing he is or how much what he does for me means to me. I feel 100% blessed and thankful for everything I have in my life.

I never got to really celebrate this day, even when being married, this gifts were given with no meaning. I look on FB and see all these happy couples and wish nothing but the best for them. This day really didn't mean anything to me till today after I picked my son up from school, he had a huge bag of valentines from all the girls in his class and he was so excited. I asked him at dinner tonight who was his valentine and he said "you momma" and gave me his million dollar smile. It made me realize that you don't need a significant other to celebrate this day. Just someone who loves you for who you are. Maybe someday I'll find my true love but till then , Brian will be my valentine :-)

My day consisted of going to work, enjoyed lunch with my best friends, work again, headed home, bought dinner for my husband, dropped his food off, went back home & spent the whole night by myself. Unfortunately this has been my first time being married& not spending it with him my one &only, my everything, my prince charming, it breaks my heart that i only got to see him for a few seconds today, but when i did i smiled from ear to ear, my heart skipped a beat & time stood still &that made up for my whole day, nothing feels better to see the one you love & knowing that he's ok. Valentines is the day to express the love you have towards everything not only your husband but family, friends, pets & everything around you the air you breathe, the shelter you live in, and the food that is placed on your table<3 &thank god for giving you the opportunity for another day on this place called earth.(:

This Valentine was so special to me because last year at this time i was going through a divorce with my husband, but after almost a year of being seperated we got back together and I'm the happiest I have been in so long! And he made sure to make the day wonderful for me. Not to mention I got extra love from my son :) and that can make any day special.

We don't really celebrate Valentines day but we do give each other cards and show each other a little extra affection. We try to make every day a valentines day showing each other love to each other and giving our son the extra loving he needs! :)

This was the best Valentine's Day yet! I got to share happiness with people when I delivered surprise presents, and my daughter and I surprised her daddy at work with a picnic! It was so amazing, and I am so blessed to have a wonderful little family. I can't wait for next year!
